Modern TV Stand started with a simple frustration: searching for a TV stand turns up thousands of identical particle-board boxes. We wanted something that belonged in a beautiful room.
So we built a small, opinionated catalog. Every piece on this site is one we'd put in our own home — sourced from design-led brands, and a handful of larger makers who still care about craft. If a piece is boring or forgettable you'll never see it here. Our catalog stays small on purpose. That's the whole point.
How it works
Simple: we don't sell anything. When a piece catches your eye and you click the View At... button, you're taken straight to the retailer or maker to see the details and make the purchase. We never hold inventory, never handle shipping, and never mark up prices — you pay exactly what you'd pay going to them directly.

But we want to be clear about one thing: commission never decides what gets listed. Every piece listed on this site is here because it's good — that's the only test a TV stand has to pass.
